Paula and Nick tailored the program to our needs and they were very flexible. It was visible that they really want us to benefit most. They created space for the trainees to share their experience which was very valuable as they came from different professional backgrounds. The knowledge and information presented was accurate and practical. The exercises helped us better understand ourselves and our clients. A lot of the trainees asked us to invite Paula and Nick again to Poland. It was a pleasure to work with you both. Thank you.
In May 2014, CENAPS Denmark had the pleasure of hosting the 4 day course “Understanding and Treating Sex Addiction” with Paula Hall and Nick Turner in Copenhagen, Denmark. The course provided an opportunity to acquire a broad understanding of sex addiction from knowledge of the brain, trauma – and associated theories. It was a very intense course where both psychotherapists poured out of their vast knowledge and experience from their many years in the field. As a result the course was extremely professionally rewarding for the students in their ongoing therapeutic work in the field.
Paula Hall is a fantastic speaker, she charmed and educated the audience in equal measure. Delegates left with increased knowledge and awareness of this very specialist field without feeling overwhelmed by the detail or challenge of working with this particular client group.
Thank you for delivering last Saturday’s study day here at Praxis. Lina and I thoroughly enjoyed both the content and style of your delivery. I found it more than simply informative – it was enlightening and theoretically fascinating!
The best training I have ever been to. Thank you for a very practical guideline that will help me working with sex addiction clients.
I thought the training was marvellous and I learnt a lot. I love your model and have already found myself using the knowledge and tools.
I found Paula’s training to be fascinating, comprehensive and very pragmatic – the goal was always to be able to use the knowledge in an applied and clinical setting, and that is exactly what I found myself doing! Her expertise in her clinical area is very apparent and the way that the training is contextualised into broader arenas of psychopathology gives it excellent scope. I would highly recommend Paula’s training to anyone working in the field of mental health.
