Simon is a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over 25 years’ experience providing counselling, training and consultancy services to individuals, couples, groups and organisations. He has worked with a wide range of clients including addiction treatment centres and organisations such as Relate and the Terrence Higgins Trust. His driving principle is that real insight and change can only come through hard work and some risk-taking – it’s as true for him as it is for his clients. As well as porn and sex addiction, Simon works with anxiety, self-esteem, work-related issues, bereavement and loss, trauma, depression and relationships. Simon makes use of a range of models and techniques to inform his counselling work including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Existentialism and EMDR. Before becoming a Counselling Psychologist, Simon worked as a Business Psychologist.
