This course, and the Laurel Centre in general, including the associated support services like the books and Pivotal Recovery, has been the only thing that has made sense of my addiction. Meeting other people in the same situation as me has been one of the biggest turning points in my acceptance of my behaviour and my desire to change. The facilitation of the course is fantastic, with exceptionally talented people, gently guiding and challenging your behaviour with compassion. If you are scared, worried or think there is no one out there like you, be brave, do the course, it will change your life.
