Pornography is now accessible anytime, anywhere and it’s the easiest behaviour to keep completely hidden from anyone else.  Pornography addiction is a subset of sex addiction that brings a particular set of challenges and complications when it comes to getting into recovery.

Our porn addiction therapy services include individual counselling. This can be either face to face or online. Alternatively you may choose to join one of our online porn addiction support groups.

Our porn addiction therapy services include:

In addition to our general online recovery course, we also provide a specific services tailored to the needs of young people aged between 18 and 25. Once in recovery, we can offer accountability sessions to ensure you maintain your commitment to live a life without porn.

The easy accessibility of pornography makes it particularly difficult to escape from. Whilst porn blockers are an essential tool for recovery, most people will find a way around them. Distraction techniques can also be  helpful, but they rarely work as a long term solution.

One of the unique difficulties facing many people who are addicted to porn is the impact it often has on sexual functioning. PIED (Porn Induced Erectile Dysfunction) and unless this is addressed, many people find themselves reverting to porn and unable to enjoy a partnered sex life.

Like sex addiction, many people who struggle with porn addiction also have underlying problems with stress and anxiety, depression and low self esteem that need to be addressed, whilst others would describe themselves as fundamentally happy, except for their porn use.

Whatever your individual circumstances, we can help you to develop treatment strategies that really work – not just in the short term, but forever. We can also provide the psychosexual porn addiction therapy you need to reclaim your sexuality from porn and develop a sex life that will provide you with the fulfilment that you want.

If you’re not sure if porn is a real problem for you, or just a bad habit, then do try our Am I an Addict assessment.  And for more general information and advice, do look at What is Pornography Addiction.
