This one day workshop has been specifically designed for people who are in recovery from sex or porn addiction. It is suitable for those who have previously attended a Hall Recovery Course and those who are in recovery through individual therapy or 12 step programmes.
The day will provide you with all the knowledge and skills you need to begin to use Mindfulness effectively as part of your recovery programme.
The day will explain what Mindfulness is and how it can be helpful for you in relapse prevention and strengthening your recovery. You will have the opportunity to learn and practice Mindfulness skills that will reduce urges to act out.
The skills you will learn will help you feel more in control of your thinking, enable you to recognize and deal with unwanted thoughts. For those who are confident about their recovery, the day will help in managing difficult emotions and strengthening recovery.
The day will run from 10.00 am to 4.30 pm and is facilitated by an Associate who is trained in sex and porn addiction and has been practicing and using Mindfulness successfully with clients for many years. Places are limited, so if you would like to join us, please book now.
